Mentor CityFest returns to Mentor Civic Center Park on Friday, August 16, 2024 from 5:00 PM – 11:00 PM and Saturday, August 17, 2024 from 12:00 PM to 11:00 PM.
This two-day family-friendly festival is packed with activities, games, entertainment, food and more!
Enjoy live music on the Mentor Civic Amphitheater stage Friday and Saturday.
The CityFest Kids Zone is bigger and better than before with giant inflatables and interactive games for kids of all ages. Civic Center grounds will be filled with bounce houses, giant slides, a warrior dash, 70’ obstacle run, rock wall, zip line, an extreme trampoline, and a mobile ninja warrior course.
The Adult Zone features a beer trailer, cornhole and other party games as well as the return of axe throwing.
Mentor CityFest will feature all-day interactive entertainment and activities including strolling performers, the “Fest Money” game, plus community sponsored activities and games. Festivalgoers can also visit with a number of local businesses, service organizations, and non-profits, that call Mentor home in the popular Main Street tent.
Be sure to come hungry! With over 20 food vendors on site, we will have every type of festival food that your taste buds desire including favorites like sausage sandwiches, funnel cakes, and lemonade as well as unique sweet treats and everything in between.
The Mentor CityFest Parade will kick off from Shore Middle School Saturday at 10:00 AM and make its way to the festival grounds via Hopkins, Center Street and Civic Center Boulevard. The parade will feature over 100 groups, the Mentor High School Marching Band, and our City of Mentor float.
For those trailblazers looking for a colorful thrill, register for CityFest Color Dash & Walk on Saturday night starting at 6:00 PM. This 2.5-mile run and fun walk starts & finishes at CityFest! The flat route follows the Civic Center bike path and is accessible for all ages! With seven different color zones, you are sure to be festively decorated to enjoy the rest of the Mentor CityFest activities.
Free admission and parking to the event. Bounce houses and some activities will require a wristband which will be available for purchase at the event. Mentor Civic Center Park is located at 8600 Munson Road.
Festival parking will be available at Mentor High School, Mentor Senior Center, Mentor Fire Station #5, Mentor Police Department, and at the Laketran parking lot on Market Street. Handicapped parking for those with a permanent Ohio handicapped plaque will be at the Mentor Municipal Center.

FRIDAY NIGHT AT CITYFEST – 8:00 PM
Over the 28 years and over 4500 shows since ZOSO came together as a group in the mid-‘90s, the seemingly tireless quartet has continued to earn its well-deserved reputation as being, in the words of The L.A. Times, “head and shoulders above all other Led Zeppelin tributes.” ZOSO doesn’t cut corners on either the look or sound of Led Zeppelin. Instead, the band draws liberally and meticulously from Led Zeppelin’s recorded live and studio output to present a vivid performance picture of the classic live Zeppelin of 1968-1977. No wonder the St. Petersburg Times noted that, in addition to their virtuosity and spot-on visual presentation, ZOSO is also “the most exacting of all the Led Zeppelin tributes.” The Chicago Sun-Times put it even more succinctly: “[ZOSO is] the closest to the original of any Led Zeppelin tribute.”
SATURDAY NIGHT AT CITYFEST – 8:00 PM
Just Like P!nk is an 8 piece band is led by singer, dancer and silk-aerialist Julia Small, who skillfully re-creates P!NK’s powerful vocals, choreographed dance and mind-bending silk work on stage. Only P!NK herself could pull it off. Get ready for all of your favorite hits, from the Grammy-nominated album “Beautiful Trauma” and Billboard Mid-Year Award “Just Give Me A Reason” to the early-aughts anthem So What, Just like a Pill, Raise Your Glass, Try, and more!
Saturday, August 17th at 6 PM. This isn’t your average fun run! This 2.6 mile run and fun walk starts & finishes at Mentor CityFest on the grounds of Civic Center Park, and runs along the bike path. Several color zones will leave you festively decorated! Registration includes a t-shirt and post-race fun & entertainment.

Men/Women 13 & under; 14 – 17; 18 – 24; 25 – 29; 30 – 34; 35 – 39; 40 – 44; 45-49; 50-59; 60-69; 70+
Awards
Top 3 overall Men & Women and top runner in each age division

$20 pre-race; $25 day of race (T-shirts guaranteed to pre-race registrants only)
Packet Pick up will be Friday, August 19, 10 AM – 7 PM at Second Sole, 8791 Mentor Ave, Mentor.
Race Day registration/Check-In is from 4:30 – 5:30 PM at the pool pavilion, Civic Center Park, 8600 Munson Rd., Mentor.
Race begins at 6 PM.

Non-food vendors will include arts and crafts, local businesses, community organizations, churches and others wanting to participate. All vendors are stationed within our two Main Street tents. The festival map indicates where these are located on the property.

A designated food vendor area will feature traditional fair foods, as well as local fare.
